Belo confirms there is a Vicki-Hayden sex video
Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho sex video?
Dr. Vicki Belo admitted that there is a sex video involving her and Dr. Hayden Kho. But she clarifies that she is not the mastermind on spreading the sex videos of Hayden Kho and Katrina Halili.
Hayden Kho says sorry, claims he is also a victim
For the first time since the controversy broke, cosmetic surgeon Hayden Kho faced the media Friday to air his side on the video recordings of his sexual escapades with several women, saying that he is also a "victim" since the videos were stolen from him.
Kho, speaking to the media in an undisclosed location in Makati, asked for forgiveness from his family, friends, and the women involved in the videos, one of whom is actress Katrina Halili.
"I deeply regret everything that has happened because of poor judgment. Nagsisisi na po ako sa dami ng mga nadamay, sa dami ng mga nasaktang tao, dahil may nagnakaw at nagkalat nung videos," Kho said.
He maintained that he is also a victim of the controversy since the videos, which he said were supposed to be private only, were stolen from him and were sold by a former friend. He also said that he is ready to face the consequences of his actions.
"Right now, I only feel deep remorse. I know it's too much to ask for forgiveness right now, [pero] sana, someday, people would learn to condemn the sin and not the sinner," he added.
He also appealed to the public to stop distributing and watching the videos.
Statement
On Thursday, Kho broke his silence on the matter by releasing a statement apologizing for the proliferation of the videos.
He said such were uploaded and reproduced without his knowledge and consent.
"The filming of an intimate, strictly personal, and private act is most unfortunate and truly regrettable, and I sincerely apologize for the harm it has done to other parties. I must emphasize that there was no malice on my part, or intention to hurt anyone with these recordings," he explained.
"I deplore the fact that without my knowledge and consent, these recordings were uploaded on the internet, downloaded, reproduced in optical media form, distributed, and sold to the public," he added.
The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has subpoenaed Kho, his former girlfriend Dr. Vicki Belo, and fellow doctor Eric Johnston Chua regarding the investigation on the alleged sex video.
Belo reportedly had a copy of the sex video while Chua was named as the person allegedly responsible for exposing it to the public.
On Wednesday, Halili accused Kho, her former lover, and others of violating the Republic Act 9262 or the law on violence against women and children. As part of the procedure, the sexy actress underwent a psychological evaluation in the NBI on Thursday.
Doctor no more
Given the extent of the controversy, Kho said he has decided to suspend his practice of medicine. "I own up to my responsibility as a professional, and have decided to suspend my practice of medicine."
Earlier, Halili asked the Professional Regulatory Commission to revoke Kho's license for videotaping their sexual intercourse without her consent. Halili's fellow stars, as well as other lawmakers, also condemned Kho.
Kho said the incident had a "mental and emotional effect" on his being, saying that he has been undergoing professional counseling since December last year. In the meantime, he said Atty. Lorna Kapunan would speak on his behalf regarding the issue.
"At this stage, I realize I cannot expect understanding and forgiveness. I can only pray that this comes in due time," he said. With a report from Jay Ruiz, ABS-CBN News

Hayden Kho on sex videos: No malice on my part

Mayweather-Marquez bout expected to be a sellout
Another blockbuster boxing match is set to take the spotlight when Floyd Mayweather, Jr. makes his comeback to face Juan Manuel Marquez on July 18.
With this mega fight, Mark Taffet, senior vice president of HBO Sports and HBO Pay-Per-View said in a press conference, “The year 2009 is shaping up to be a fantastic one for boxing,” quoted PhilBoxing.com.
“In January, we had a great fight in Margarito vs. Mosley. Then we had Marquez vs. Diaz, which was an impressive fight, and a few weeks back we had Pacquiao vs. Hatton.”
American Shane Mosley won the WBA welterweight championship on Jan. 24 after defeating Mexican Antonio Margarito. Marquez beat Mexican-American Juan Diaz by knockout on Feb. 28. “Dinamita” gained the IBO lightweight championship belt. Manny Pacquiao posted a sensational win via a second round knockout of Briton Ricky Hatton on May 2.
“In Mayweather vs. Marquez, we have one guy that is returning to the ring while the other is more ready than ever,” Taffet said.
Sellout no doubt
Meanwhile, Bob Halloran, MGM Mirage director of sports, noted, “I don't think there is any question that this will be a sellout.”
“We've had both fighters fight at the arena a few times before and every time we did they had some great fights,” commented Halloran.
Marquez will go into the ring to fight in Mexico’s name while Mayweather will represent the United States.
Mayweather, the former pound-for-pound king, has six world championships in five weight classes under his belt.
Marquez meantime is a three-division champion with five world titles, Taffet noted.
The July 18 fight called “Mayweather vs. Marquez: Number One/Numero Uno” will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It is promoted by Mayweather Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions in association with Marquez Promotions.
Sex expert: Orgasm should be a right
While the world is focused on the "swine flu" outbreak, a wellness expert says there is another "silent and secret epidemic" gripping the world: the inability of many women to achieve sexual bliss.
Dr. Lulu Marquez, an anaesthesiologist by profession, said she has made it her advocacy to spread awareness about sexual dysfunctions as well as to help women assert their right to sexual satisfaction and its corresponding health and emotional benefits.
"My advocacy is to make all women happy in bed. They should not allow it when it's only their partners who are happy [in bed]. An orgasm should be a right, hindi lang yung parang ginagamit ka lang na pambuntis ka lang," she said in an interview.
"When you have a sexually satisfying encounter, you look beautiful and satisfied," she added.
Indeed one may ask, what is an anaesthesiologist doing in the field of sex education?
"Nagbibigay [ako dati] ng pampamanhid. Eh medyo nagsawa na ako, dahil kailangan buhayin ang mga tulog!" she quipped, prompting a round of laughs from her mostly women audience at the "I Am Beautiful" Lifeshop seminar organized by the Abundance Corporation on Wednesday.
Marquez, a spunky middle-aged woman prone to cracking jokes during her speeches, happily conducts lectures to a variety of audiences from civic groups to overseas contract workers and their wives.
She said she is not shy about tackling taboos like sex since she approaches the subject from a purely medical perspective, but with a touch of humor here and there. She also hosts a radio show on DWIZ 88.2 called "Wellness On The Air" with Albert Castillo, discussing topics like stress management, female sexual dysfunctions, air pollution, and smoking.
Bare down there
Marquez, who considers herself a wellness expert, said she has talked to many Filipino women who were not sexually satisfied but were too afraid to open up the subject with their partners-- an attitude which may be attributed to Filipino culture.
"Filipinas tend to be shy and they are not so open about sex. Probably because their parents did not teach them the importance of sexuality. And you also learn the basics [about sex] from books, movies, or from your friends. You don't ask your doctors or OB [gynecologists] about sex. [Kung] nahihiya ka, parang you cannot take control of yourself. Your tendency is just to let your partner do it [to] you. When you make love, you should enjoy it," she said.
Marquez added that about half of all sexually active women fake their orgasms in order to please their partner. Men, meanwhile, sometimes have difficulty telling whether a woman's "vocalizations" and "epileptic fits" during the throes of passion are genuine or fake. Sometimes, she said, men don't attune themselves to their partner's body language and sexual needs.
"Women are like 'plantsa' or flat irons, they need to be heated first. Men are like 'posporo' or matches because when you light them up, they burn, but when the fire is gone, they snore the night away," she joked.
Citing a study by Psychology Professor Marita McCabe, Marquez said that about 55% of women have difficulty with sexual satisfaction and are too stressed for sex. McCabe is a sex researcher from the Deakin University in Australia.
Marquez added that sexual dissatisfaction can be caused by a myriad of factors, from sexual dysfunctions to lifestyle pressures like too much work-related stress or poor body image.
"Obesity causes sexual problems and weight loss can help cure sexual problems. If you're obese, you may be sick and cannot perform well. You also have difficulty moving. Sex is a good workout, you can burn up to 200 calories," she said.
Sexual fixes
One of the most prevalent hindrances to achieving orgasm is a set of what she calls oft-overlooked sexual dysfunctions, all grouped into the umbrella term of "frigidity."
"If men have erectile dysfunction, women have Female Sexual Dysfunction (FSD) which can occur not only to menopausal women but to young married couples even as young as 25," she said.
These dysfunctions include anorgasmia (the inability to climax during sex), hypoactive sexual desire disorder, sexual aversion disorder, female sexual arousal disorder, and female orgasmic disorder. Some of the worst include vaginismus (where the vaginal canal is too tight, usually caused by traumatic experiences) and dyspareunia (vaginal pain during sexual intercourse due to malformations, yeast infections or vaginal ulcers).
Although sexual dysfunctions can occur among young people, Marquez said it gets more and more common as men and women age because hormone levels drop, causing a decrease in libido.
"Women who are 35 years old and above, for example, experience a decrease in estrogen. When estrogen drops, the vagina gets so dry and loses its lubrication," she explained.
Some women (and men) opt to use chemical products like "intimacy gels" and pills supposedly promising a surge in one's sex drive, but Marquez said there may be a simpler solution to cure any sexual problem.
"What we need is intimacy. Kasi kung hindi kayo nagkakaintindihan ng partner niyo, baka hindi ka magka-orgasm. Always kiss your partner because the lips is the number one erogeneous zone of a woman. Hug them, talk to them," she said.
As the "silent and secret epidemic" becomes more like a pandemic (since Marquez insists that it affects women of all races and sexual persuasions), doctors and experts race to find a cure, from therapy to herbal medicines to alleged "sex elixirs".
Marquez, meanwhile, just wants to get the word out, one lecture at a time.

Who will reign supreme? The son of great trainer who Manny won the fight against. Or the 2nd placed pound for pound.
Live feed of the fight will be posted below on fight day.
Pacquiao keeps running from me —Juan Miguel Marquez
Juan Manuel “Dinamita” Marquez claimed Filipino boxing great Manny Pacquiao is afraid of facing him for a third time.
“Pacquiao keeps running from me,” said Marquez in a report by PhilBoxing.com’s Granville Ampong. The “Dinamita” is currently the No.2 pound-for-pound boxer, according to the latest Ring Magazine rankings.
“And he does not want to face me a third time. He just keeps running away,” remarked Marquez during a fan rally in Los Angeles, California.
The “Dinamita” and “The Pacman” first faced off in 2004 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. Their bout ended in a draw. They clashed again in 2008’s “Unfinished Business” at the Mandalay Bay, where Pacquiao won via split decision.
“So, I decided to fight the very, very best and that is Floyd Mayweather,” the Mexican proclaimed.
The Marquez-Mayweather match-up called “Number One/Numero Uno” will take place on July 18 at the MGM Grand.
The fight was announced hours before Pacquiao’s May 2 fight against Ricky Hatton.
Marquez’s fan rally at the “Placita Olvera” (Olvera Street) on May 17 was attended by almost 300 people. The fan event is part of the Los Angeles leg of the bout’s promotional tour.
The “Dinamita” signed autographs and granted photo opportunities for the boxing fans. He even showed off his musical prowess by playing a few notes on the violin with the Mariachi Band and singing a Spanish song “in an oratorical fashion,” as stated on PhilBoxing.com.
From Los Angeles, the promotional tour will proceed to New York.
Various reports note that whoever wins on July 18 will face Pacquiao in his next fight. Team Pacquiao has said that other possible opponents for "The People's Champ" are Shane Mosley and Miguel Cotto.
Cotto would not fight Pacquiao below 145
Puerto Rico’s WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto, one of the possible opponents of Manny Pacquiao in his next fight, declared that he will only fight "the Pacman" at a specified weight range.
"Nothing less than 145-pounds," Cotto told Puerto Rican newspaper “Primera Hora,” as reported by BoxingScene.com's Mark Vester.
"I'm not willing to fight [Manny Pacquiao] below 145-pounds," stressed Cotto.
Vester wrote that Cotto said he "will not risk his health for a multi-million dollar payday."
Cotto’s statement negated what Michael Koncz earlier told the Philippine Star, “We are told Cotto is agreeable to fight at a catchweight limit of 144. Manny might want to bring it down to 142.”
Koncz added, “Manny’s comfortable where he is right now, fighting as a light welterweight. Why should he agree to what Cotto wants?”
“If Cotto wants to fight Manny, it should be at Manny’s terms. This fight would mean more to Cotto than to Manny. If a limit of 142 is agreed, let Cotto struggle to make weight, not Manny,” he said.
Bob Arum, head of Top Rank Promotions, also told the Philippine Star that a Pacquiao-Cotto fight would be a “sell-out.”
For the meantime, Cotto will have to defend his title against Joshua Clottey at the Madison Square Garden in New York on June 13.
Pacquiao will reportedly watch the fight at ringside with his coach, Freddie Roach.—with a report from Joaquin Henson, The Philippine Star
Lucy Gordon kills herself in Paris
PARIS - British actress Lucy Gordon, an up-and-coming talent who played a role in Spider-Man 3 and will soon appear as Jane Birkin in a Serge Gainsbourg biopic, has killed herself in Paris, her agent said.
The 29-year-old died on Wednesday, Gordon's representative Elisabeth Simpson said in a statement. According to press reports in Paris and London she hanged herself in a flat she shared with a boyfriend, who raised the alarm.
Selected scenes from Gordon's latest movie, "Gainsbourg: Heroic Life", have been played this week at the Cannes Film Festival and she was seen in the film industry as a possible future star.
"The film owes a lot to the generous spirit, to the kindess and immense talent of Lucy Gordon," director Joann Sfar and producers Marc du Pontavice and Didier Lupfer said in a statement.
Gordon lived in France, where she was best known for her breakthrough role in Cedric Klapisch's romantic comedy "Poupees Russes" (Russian Dolls).
NBI summons Hayden Kho, Vicky Belo on sex video
The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Thursday subpoenaed controversial cosmetic surgeon Dr. Hayden Kho and two other doctors, including Dr. Vicki Belo, with regard to its investigation on the alleged sex video involving him and actress Katrina Halili.
Vicente de Guzman, head of NBI Anti-Fraud and Computer Crimes Division, said Kho was summoned to answer the charges filed against him by Halili.
On Wednesday, Halili accused Kho, her former lover, and others of violation of Republic Act 9262 or the law on violence against women and children. As part of the procedure, Halili underwent psychological evaluation in the NBI on Thursday.
Belo, Kho’s former girlfriend, and Dr. Eric Johnston Chua were also summoned to shed light on the case. Belo reportedly had a copy of the sex video while Chua was named as the person allegedly responsible for spreading the video.
Aside from the NBI, Halili also met with Justice Secretary Raul Gonzalez to seek his help.
Gonzalez said the case can go to the fiscal's office for a preliminary investigation but he clarified that he needs to wait for the report of the NBI so he can evaluate it.
Respondents like Kho, Gonzalez added, should be given an opportunity to answer the complaint.
"Other victims should come out and put a stop to this once and for all... this is a product of a sick mind, or a disturbed personality," the justice secretary said.
Revoke Kho’s license
Halili also asked the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) to revoke the license of cosmetic surgeon Kho after their sex scandal broke out.
In her six-page complaint, Halili said Kho should be stripped of his license for immorality after videotaping their sexual intercourse without her consent. Their sex video is now circulating in the Internet.
“Hindi [ko] alam atsaka [kung] kayo mismo [ang] manonood makikita niyo kung pano kami binaboy ni Hayden. Dapat siyang makaulong,” she said.
In her complaint, Halili narrated that she and Kho had a romantic affair in late 2007, but this ended in January 2008. The two met when she attended an event of the Belo Medical Group in 2007.
She said rumors about their sex video came out in December 2008, prompting her to confront Kho about it.
Four videos
She said Kho, in a text message to her manager, had initially denied any sex video. The doctor, Halili claimed, later admitted that he has four videos with Halili.
According to Halili, this was Kho's text message sent to her manager in May 2009: "There are four videos with Kat (Halili), if [I’m] not mistaken, two dancing, one talking, one obscene."
Halili claimed the doctor also told her manager that Belo had copies of these videos. Kho also assured her camp that copies of those videos would not go public, the actress claimed.
On Wednesday, the actress vowed to go after Kho and others who were responsible for spreading the sex video, which created a national uproar. Halili's fellow stars, as well as other lawmakers, condemned the cosmetic surgeon.
“Dapat wala ako dito. Sobrang depressed ako sa lahat ng nangyari. Pero kailangan ko ng harapin. Kailangang magbayad ang mga taong gumawa niyan sa akin,” she said.
She also urged other alleged victims of Kho to come forward. “Huwag niyong hayaan na ang mga kagaya nila ay hindi napaparusahan. Sana lumabas na din po kayo.”
As for those who continue to watch the video, she said: “May mga kapatid din po kayo, may mga anak kayo. Sana po maawa kayo sa amin kasi binababoy niyo po kami.”
Watch Cavaliers VS Magic Game 1 Highlights
CLEVELAND (AP) - LeBron James chewed on his fingernails as he talked quietly with Mo Williams in the corner of Cleveland's muted locker room.
As they reviewed the game's final seconds, the two stars stared blankly at a boxscore floating in an ice tub above James' feet.
They looked stunned. And for good reason.
No longer untested, no longer unbeaten. The Cavaliers finally met their match in the playoffs.
Dwight Howard scored 30 points, Rashard Lewis added 22 and the Orlando Magic rallied from a 15-point halftime deficit to hand James and the Cavaliers their first loss of the postseason, 107-106 on Wednesday night in the Eastern Conference finals opener.
James finished with 49 points, eight assists and six rebounds, but the league MVP limped off the floor after Cleveland's loss - just its third in 46 home games.
"Nobody said it was going to be easy," said Cavs guard Delonte West, who missed an open 3-pointer with five seconds remaining. "This one hurts."
Lewis made a 3-pointer with 14.7 seconds left and the Magic, who dethroned the champion Boston Celtics in seven games in the previous round, survived two shots by Cleveland in the closing seconds. Williams missed a catch-and-shoot jumper off a jump ball as the horn sounded, dropping the Cavs to 8-1 in the postseason.
"It's a big victory," said Howard, who broke one of the shot clocks with a dunk in the opening minutes. "We kept fighting the whole game. We kept believing we could win."
Hedo Turkoglu scored 15 points with 14 assists for Orlando.
Game 2 is Friday night at Quicken Loans Arena, which fell eerily silent after the Magic's win.
As fans headed to the exits, they turned to observe James still on the floor and bent over in obvious pain. He was bothered by cramps throughout the fourth quarter and was tended to by Cleveland's training staff before slowly making his way to the locker room.
"I'm not hurt," said James, who felt the long layoff - the Cavs hadn't played since May 11 - may have contributed to the cramping.
Cleveland gave this one away. The Cavaliers lost their grip on the game with a stagnant third quarter that carried into the fourth. Also, the Magic shot 55 percent from the floor - 59 percent in the second half - against the league's top defensive team.
"That's unacceptable," James said. "We should have lost."
Orlando, which went 2-1 vs. Cleveland in the regular season, took its first lead at 85-84 with 10:06 left when Anthony Johnson buried a 3-pointer from the left corner. The bucket seemed to suck the air out of the raucous building and Cavs coach Mike Brown quickly called a timeout to stop the Magic's run and get James back in.
The Magic, though, kept making big shots with Lewis hitting a jumper with 31.6 seconds left to give Orlando a 104-103 lead.
James then drove and scored on a runner while drawing a sixth foul on Howard, who added 13 rebounds. James completed the three-point play for a 106-104 lead but Lewis came down and nailed his 3-pointer over a closing Anderson Varejao.
"You got to play 48 minutes," Lewis said. "The most important thing is to play 48 minutes. We played only one half but it was the second half."
On Cleveland's last possession, West missed his open 3 but James was able to tie up Turkoglu for a jump ball. James tipped it behind him to Williams, but his last-second prayer hit the back of the rim and the Cavs walked off knowing they had given up home-court advantage for this round.
"This is good for us," Brown said. "We didn't expect go undefeated."
Williams ended the first half by swishing a 67-footer to give the Cavaliers a 63-48 lead.
Taking the inbounds pass with 1.7 seconds left, Williams dribbled once and sent a high-arching shot like the ones he and the Cavs' shooters work on at practice toward the basket. When it splashed through, James raised his arms and then wrapped Williams in a bear hug.
It was the third consecutive Game 1 in these playoffs that the Cavs have closed the first half with a buzzer-beating bucket. James did it against Detroit and Atlanta.
In the Orlando locker room, Magic coach Stan Van Gundy ripped into his players for not stopping James, who had 26 in the opening half.
"He told us, 'We're all witnesses,"' Howard recalled, using the slogan James has popularized with his commercials. "That got us fired up."
Leading by 15, the Cavs got complacent and lost their offensive rhythm in the third quarter. They stood around either waiting for James to do something or settled for jump shots that didn't fall.
Orlando seized the chance to get back in it and with Courtney Lee and Mickael Pietrus hitting 3-pointers, the Magic outscored the Cavaliers 30-19 in the period to pull within 82-78 entering the fourth.
Notes: Orlando's bench outscored Cleveland's 25-5. ... NFL Hall of Famer Jim Brown sat courtside. ... James isn't surprised that he, Howard, Kobe Bryant and Carmelo Anthony - all members of the U.S. Olympic team that won gold in China last summer- are all still in the playoffs. "We all worked really hard," he said. "That experience was great for everyone."

Watch Lakers VS Nuggets Game 1 Replay
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Kobe Bryant proved a steadying presence for his wildly inconsistent teammates, taking over in the fourth quarter and delivering a come-from-behind victory.
Bryant scored 40 points, including six free throws in the final 30 seconds, to lift Los Angeles to a 105-103 win over the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference finals opener on Tuesday night after the Lakers trailed most of the game.
"Once I sensed we didn't have the energy, I had to take it upon myself to lead by example," he said. "It's just part of my responsibilities to this team."
He did it even with an injury.
Bryant had the right ring finger on his shooting hand taped after the game. He dislocated it against Cleveland in January and had to have it popped back in place Tuesday.
"He was the scoring opportunity for us," Lakers coach Phil Jackson said. "We had very little else going on. He muscled his way through."
Pau Gasol added 13 points and 14 rebounds for the Lakers, who faced a seven-point deficit in the fourth quarter. Gasol's two free throws tied the game for the last time at 99 before Bryant started his closing streak at the line, offsetting a 3-pointer by Chauncey Billups and a free throw by J.R. Smith.
Carmelo Anthony scored 39 points and Billups added 18 for the Nuggets, who hadn't played since taking care of Dallas in five games last Wednesday.
"There's no moral victories in playoff basketball," Denver coach George Karl said. "The next 48 hours are going to be difficult."
Game 2 is Thursday at Staples Center. The Nuggets have lost 11 consecutive playoff games to the Lakers, including a first-round sweep last season.
Bryant, who was 9 for 9 from the line in the fourth quarter, made two for a 101-99 lead with 30 seconds left. Trevor Ariza stole the inbounds pass near midcourt and the Lakers were able to run the clock down to 10 seconds when Bryant made two more free throws.
"He threw the ball and gave me just enough air to go get it," Ariza said of the steal of Anthony Carter. "That's all it took."
Billups hit a 3-pointer to get the Nuggets to 103-102 with 5 seconds left, but then Anthony fouled Bryant, who made his final two foul shots.
"They have the best closer in the sport and we didn't do enough," Karl said.
Smith made one free throw with 3.2 seconds left and missed the second intentionally. Bryant grabbed the game's last rebound.
"Any great player would love that moment, get the ball in their hands every time down the court and make something happen," Anthony said.
The Lakers were back in action 48 hours after closing out Houston in seven games in the conference semifinals.
"We won that game on energy and gutting it out," Jackson said. "They outmuscled us and put pressure on the passers. We talked about getting the game close enough to win it at the end. We got a couple stops that helped us."
Denver led most of the game in its return to the conference finals for the first time in 24 years. But the Nuggets couldn't stop Bryant over the final 6:48, when he scored 15 points, including seven straight to help the Lakers improve to 7-1 at home in the playoffs. They are 8-0 this postseason when scoring 100 points.
"You get used to greatness," Lamar Odom said. "He was amazing. He wanted the ball. Kobe is always going to help you or bail you out more than he hurts you."
Bryant got the better of Anthony, his U.S. Olympic teammate.
"It was a lot of fun, he's a bull down there," Bryant said. "I am a little out of my weight class, but I'll give it my best shot."
The Lakers used a 9-0 run, including seven straight by Derek Fisher, to go up 70-66. From there, though, the Nuggets ended the third quarter on a 10-4 run to lead 76-74. Billups had five consecutive points, including a free throw after a technical foul on Bryant, in the spurt.
Bryant has five technicals in the playoffs. "I won't get another one," he vowed.
The Nuggets took a 13-point lead in the opening quarter, but hurt themselves by going 12 of 21 from the line in the half. Billups, who missed three free throws in the first two playoff series combined, missed his first three of the game.
"We missed out on a great opportunity to steal this game," he said. "We lose this game on our poor free throw shooting."
Notes
Smith sprained his right knee and will be re-evaluated Wednesday. ... The Nuggets fell to 2-3 on the road in the playoffs. ... Denver F-G Linas Kleiza played despite a fracture on the tip of his right thumb.

The Story:
Makino Tsukushi, a working-class girl, attends an elite escalator school called Eitoku Academy (英徳学園 ,Eitoku Gakuen?), populated by children from rich, high-society families. She is the "weed" of the school, surrounded by all the rich kids, including the "Flower Four" (F4). The F4 leader and son of the wealthiest, most powerful family in Japan, Domyouji Tsukasa, takes an interest in Tsukushi, because she is the only girl at Eitoku who does not fawn over him. However, his hot-headed nature and bullying ways are originally a major turn-off for Tsukushi, who has her sights set on someone else (Hanazawa Rui).
The violinist Hanazawa Rui, Tsukasa's best friend, becomes Tsukushi's first serious romantic interest. He is a quiet and cold guy, but he has a soft spot for his close friend and Tsukushi's idol, the model Todou Shizuka, whom he harbored feelings for since childhood. His character is a bit complex, and always has changing feelings for Tsukushi, but above all cares about her in a friendly way.
The other two members of the F4 are Mimasaka Akira, the laid-back peacemaker of the group, and Nishikado Sōjirō, an unrepentant playboy. They both usually have at least one girlfriend at any one time; Akira prefers older women because the women of his household (his mother and two younger sisters) are quite silly. Sojiro is happy to be in casual relationships with many women, although we later discover that at one time he was in love with a childhood friend.
Over the course of the series, however, Tsukushi's feelings evolve, and she begins to appreciate the degree of change that occurred in Tsukasa once he fell in love with her. He becomes fiercely loyal to Tsukushi and believes in her beyond all doubt, and slowly gets her to see him in a different light. The physical obstacles and emotional challenges of their rocky high-school courtship form the basis of the story. Other themes include Tsukushi's attempt to fit in at the school, the problems of her family's lifestyle and income, and the decadent lifestyle of upper-class Japanese girls.

Hub TV Online Updates
This past few days I have been busy updating the website for better usage. I have listened to the suggestions and comments from the concerned and not so concerned visitors.
Good and bad criticisms are taken in to place. :)
New site layout : From Bizmax to Zinmag Remedy 2.0. Cleaner, Faster, and Better than before. (Well most of the visitors think so. LOL!) The template was from our friend at falconhive.com. Alvaris, author of Falcon Hive have been providing me the best templates around ever since I started making sites like these. 2 thumbs up for FalconHive.
We had to make some adjustments from the original Zinmag Remedy template to fit our needs:
- Removed unused Javascripts - We removed most of the scripts that are used for the featured posts, and other stuff. This would greatly help the speed of the website.
- Adjusted the miniposts section - Originally the minipost section was with 1/4 width of the screen. Well for better readability why won't we make it 3/4 LOL! For better preview of the articles.
- Removed the featured video and the tabbed section - We need to remove some of the stuff that we will not be using.
- Added chat option on the sidebar - ever since Hub TV Online started, we really do have a chat screen. So everyone can share their ideas, comments, or more often what ever they want to say. (Please no racism aight! Trash talking is allowed but please let us be civilized online streamers. )
- Added new features - Popular posts, Twitter Updates, and brought back the good old Complete Channels list.
Well I guess that's it for now. I have reported some things to the author of the template to adjust some settings on browser compatibility :) I'll be updating you guys about that later on.
Thanks for helping Hub TV Online to improve. Keep your suggestions coming. Admins at our chat screen are always listening to your new ideas. Please do respect those guys. They have a mean streak on banning people with bad bad manners. LOL!

Lakers show talent in Game 7 but need more heart
LOS ANGELES - As it happened, each game in this peculiar series could have been accurately predicted by the outcome of the first quarter.
But Sunday's finale could've been forecast by the Rockets' first possession. Ron Artest, who marked the occasion by adding red highlights to the Rockets logo he'd had etched into his coiffure, put up an airball (his first of two on the afternoon) and you knew right then. It was over.
As a competitive proposition, what followed ranks as the worst Game 7 I've ever covered. The Rockets wouldn't score until 6:53 of the quarter, on a pair of foul shots by Aaron Brooks. At halftime, it was 51-31. More damning than that, though, was the disparity in rebounds. Houston had struggled valiantly to get 19. The Lakers had 31. By then, the afternoon had long since become an exercise in anticlimax.
It was as if the Rockets suddenly remembered who they were, and who they were missing in Yao Ming. Going up against basketball's most talented team, and its biggest front line, the Rockets offered resistance in the form of 6-foot-6 Chuck Hayes, who should get a raise for having to impersonate an NBA center, 6-foot-7 Carl Landry and 6-foot-9 Luis Scola.
And all of a sudden, Pau Gasol was clearing the glass like Bill Russell. He'd finish with 18 rebounds, not to mention the 21 points.
"He answered the challenge and played like one of the best players in the world," said Kobe Bryant.
In fact, Gasol is among of the best weak side big men in the world. He might be a 7-footer, but he's not a center, true or otherwise. That job belongs to Andrew Bynum. And more than anything, it's the resurgent Bynum that should give the "bi-polar" Lakers — Kobe's term, not mine — confidence against their next opponent, the well-rested Denver Nuggets.
The 21-year-old Bynum scored 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting, with six rebounds and a pair of blocked shots. Bigger than those numbers, however, was the way he played defense. He made the correct rotations and was especially, and justifiably, proud that "I cut off the baseline." In other words, he didn't give his coach any reason to sit him.
"It's definitely easier to play when you play more," said Bynum.
I wonder if there's a more Zen way of saying that.
Maybe something like: I like it when the coach doesn't jerk me around.
After looking at the final stat sheet, Phil Jackson said of Bynum: "We'd like him to have more touches than he had." The coach issued an addendum, of course. "The reality is he's a cleanup guy."
Translation: Bynum's main concerns are the boards and the basket, especially as it pertains to impeding the path of those who are driving to it.
"The thing we want him to grasp is how active his defense has to be to for him to become the player we want him to be, the player who can change who we are defensively," said Jackson.
I get it, though I'm not sure Bynum always does. Even after a game like this, you talk to him and he gives you the impression of a kid who's still trying to memorize the right answers.
Yes, he's been injured. And yes, he's blown some assignments through the first two rounds of the playoffs. But consider the minutes he played in the first two series: 26 in Games 3-5 against Utah, 33 in Games 2-4 against Houston.
Even I've got better things to do than make excuses for Bynum. But he's the only real center Jackson has, and when he's playing well — which is to say, confidently — Jackson's team is close to unbeatable. Again, he's 21. He doesn't need too much Zen. If you ask me, he needs a pat on the ass.
So, what to make of these Lakers? After the Rockets took them to seven games — four of them without Yao Ming — the level of their talent remains beyond reproach. But their intensity and desire are suspect. This series should've been over in five games. On at least two occasions — Games 4 and 6 — the Lakers just didn't bother playing hard.
"That could possibly be on our coaching staff," said Jackson, to his credit.
The Nuggets had to like what they saw — until Sunday. Denver is the second-best team in the West. But they're a better team now than they were a few weeks ago, and a lot better than the one L.A. beat so regularly during the regular season. They've shown a lot in beating Dallas and New Orleans so handily. And unlike the remnants of this Houston team, they have a bigger, better front line. Their big men are especially active on defense with guys like Chris Andersen and Kenyon Martin.
This won't be an easy series for the Lakers. But if Bynum plays as he is capable of playing — a challenge for the coach as well as the player — the outcome shouldn't be in doubt.
I don't know if the Lakers have any heart. But they still have more talent. The only thing the Nuggets have more than the Lakers is tattoos.
